The Pilz highlights include the flexible sensor technology solutions PSEN: The focus will be on safe guard locking and monitoring of safety gates on machinery and complex plants.

Under the slogan “Flexible automation solutions for safety and security”, the automation company Pilz will be presenting future-proof technologies for greater product safety in packaging automation at interpack 2023 (04.05.2023 – 10.05.2023).

In the range of safe configurable small controllers PNOZmulti 2 from Pilz, the new standalone base unit PNOZ m C0 is now available. The extremely compact base unit is just 22.5 mm wide and monitors up to four safety functions on machines.

The automation company Pilz will be presenting its safety and industrial security solutions for primary, secondary and end-of-line packaging at the international trade fair FACHPACK (27–29 September). One Pilz highlight in Nuremberg: The TÜV SÜD-certified solution for safe monitoring of the cardboard feed on packaging machines.

With the TÜV-SÜD-certified safety solution, which safely monitors the cardboard feed on packaging machines, this step of the process can now be designed to be safe and productive.

New versions of the safety bolt PSENbolt from Pilz are now available for combination with the mechanical safety gate system PSENmech with guard locking: users can choose between standard versions and versions with a key. The safe complete solution consists of a mechanical bolt, handle and the new flexible, combinable safety switch. As such it represents a more flexible, cost-effective safety gate solution for personal and process protection.

For reliable, cost-efficient safeguarding of conveyor systems and machinery, Pilz is adding the new compact rope pull switch PSENrope mini to its range of position and proximity switches.

With the new drive controllers PMC SC6 and PMC SI6, Pilz is expanding its portfolio of servo amplifiers to include space-saving, scalable systems for both single and multi-axis applications. Both can be combined flexibly and commissioned quickly. The drive controllers PMC SC6 and PMC SI6 offer high precision, particularly for single or multi-axis applications in the metalworking, packaging or woodworking industry.

In its "Operating and monitoring" product area Pilz offers eleven new types of the control unit PITgatebox, which can be used for simple operation of safety gate switches and systems. The types with integrated reader unit PITreader also combine safety with industrial security by enabling intuitive control of access permissions.
