At a system level, the rotary configuration allows for continuous product loading and evacuation, bypassing the stop-and-start cycles inherent to traditional belt systems. Amcor plc provided the high-speed machinery alongside specialized high-barrier packaging materials engineered specifically to match the mechanical parameters of the rotary sealer. Infrastructure Integration and Deployment Phases
The modernization project involves a phased deployment at the Barra Mansa Alimentos facility. The complete implementation schedule spans through 2026, concluding with the operation of three distinct Amcor Moda Vac lines. These three rotary systems are configured to directly replace up to nine conventional belt chamber machines. Amcor plc's technical service teams provide local engineering support to calibrate the vacuum parameters, ensure interface compatibility with the automated deboning line, and maintain process stability during the transition phases.

The primary operational benefit of the technological shift is the consolidation of digital infrastructure and machinery, reducing the equipment footprint by a two-to-one ratio. This consolidation directly enhances process stability and throughput.
