UV light sanitizers with MIRO® UV-C

On the UV light spectrum there are UV-A, B, and C lights. Only UV-C light can kill microorganisms, as it has a range of effectiveness, which interferes and destroys the nucleic acids of bacteria and other microbes. Studies have shown that UV-C is effective against all foodborne pathogens, natural microbiota, molds, and yeasts.

EBV Elektronik GmbH

With our MIRO® UV product range, Alanod provides companies with a simple and effective way to boost the performance, reliability and longevity of their equipment.

EBV Elektronik and contributing partners, have been developping effective disinfection cases which can disinfect small but high-touch 3D objects (mobile phones, keys, ball pens, change purse, dental prothesis…). These portable cases use UV-C LED light to kill 99.99 percent of germs and bacteria on surfaces.

The UV-C lights work at 260nm to 280nm, completely eliminating bacteria and disinfecting any surface. By integrating an additonal UV-sensor, the case is able to calculate the disinfection dose as it scans the surface area and defines the length and intensity of LED exposure.

Since exposure to UV C Light can be harmful when it comes in human contact, the UV case has an additional auto cutoff feature that instantly shuts the light when the door is opened during the operation. By using MIRO® UV-C within the equipment, ist spectral reflectance of over 90% guarantee optimised UV efficiency.
