Learning about the opportunities for alternative proteins

MULTIVAC is staging the "Future Proteins" conference with Handtmann on 1 and 2 February 2023 at the company's headquarters in Wolfertschwenden. The concept is unique: the two-day event offers participants the opportunity of gaining an insight into the practical aspects from experts in the sector, as well as networking, and experiencing at first hand a wide range of sustainable and state-of-the-art processing and packaging solutions.

Particularly exciting for all manufacturers of alternative proteins, as well as for those who would like to be.

Practical relevance as the unique selling point
The conference in the company's own Innovation Center will be held under the motto of practical relevance: "What is the technology that takes my product from an idea to the chill cabinet at the point of sale"? In addition to the lectures and podium discussions about products, markets and trends in alternative proteins, there will be "deep dive sessions" for participants to gain an overview of the opportunities for processing and packaging special product groups. And apart from a variety of presentations for specific applications, the concept will also be rounded off with demonstrations of real machine solutions from MULTIVAC and Handtmann. At the heart of the "deep dive sessions" is the understanding of the challenges and the experience of the solutions.

Using networking and generating ideas
A further highlight is the "Market Place" - the link between a trade fair and networking. A place where food and drink can be enjoyed, old acquaintances met, and opportunities provided for networking with new players. The participants will be able to exchange views with companies throughout the added value chain, as well as devising new concepts for processes and products. These will include well-known NGOs, manufacturers of processing equipment, and producers of innovative packaging materials. Meeting experts and driving forward solutions together
In addition to the conference days on 1 and 2 February 2023, the hosts MULTIVAC and Handtmann are offering the participants the opportunity of taking part on 3 February in a special "Meet the expert" day. More than 60 experts will be available for discussion sessions lasting half an hour. The participants will be able to address their questions directly to experts in individual discussions on all aspects of processing technology, tailored packaging concepts and digitalisation solutions. And all with the aim of designing individual, efficient and reliable processing and packaging concepts.
