With the introduction of the kytero^® Single-Use Pharma Separator, GEA has struck a chord with the pharmaceutical industry. Research institutes and companies in the pharmaceutical industry from Europe, Asia and Europe have already ordered the kytero^® Single-Use Pharma Separator following its launch in fall 2021.

GEA and Israeli food tech start-up Better Juice have won their first commercial project to reduce the sugar in fruit drinks. A major US beverage manufacturer is to incorporate the groundbreaking innovation into its production process in early 2022. The customer expects to be supplying fruit juices with at least 30 percent less sugar to supermarkets as early as spring.

GEA is expanding capacity at its in-house test center in Ahaus, Germany, by adding two more modules to its technology offering. With this addition, GEA is raising the Ahaus Test Center’s profile as a key facility dedicated to piloting aseptic processing as well as the filling of sensitive foods and beverages.

As a result of increased demand, the Norwegian-based Seagarden, a major producer of fish-based collagen-peptide, has ordered another FSD^® Spray Dryer from technology group GEA.

GEA has won a multi-million Euro contract from Turkey-based dairy manufacturer Gönenli Süt to supply the country’s first ever plant for producing powdered infant nutritional formula with state-of-the-art processing technology.

The new factory in the Netherlands will lead the way for future plants in the food industry with a truly sustainable approach. Located at the Rotterdam Food Hub, the production facility is scheduled to open officially in spring 2022.

GEA delivers two CF 8000 decanters to ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division in Bhadrachalam, India. The GEA decanters will support ITC’s modernization and new construction project.
