GEA G-Plex is a new, proprietary, electronic module that provides built-in, automatic, optimal volume ratio (Vi) and on-site and off-site monitoring of the performance of GEA screw compressors.

GEA OPENS NORTH AMERICAN TECHNOLOGY CENTER FOR FOOD PROCESSING AND PACKAGING

In mid September, GEA celebrated the opening of the new, state-of-the-art food processing and packaging Technology Center in Frisco, Texas. Located in the Dallas suburbs, the 15,000 square foot facility features more than 40 pieces of GEA equipment used to manufacture food products.

Just in time for Drinktec, GEA is expanding its portfolio of filling valves with new options that allow manufacturers to fill an even wider range of beverages with one valve technology. The new generation of magnetic valves can be used for all filling platforms with a high hygiene level – in aseptic applications for dairy products, for example, as well as for ESL beverages with a longer shelf life.

FULL FLAVOR, LESS WATER: GEA DEVELOPS WATER-SAVING MEMBRANE DEALCOHOLIZATION SYSTEM FOR BEER

GEA unveils a new sustainability option for the membrane system for beer dealcoholization at Drinktec 2022: GEA AromaPlus PRO reduces the water consumption for diafiltration during dealcoholization by up to 100%. The alcoholic base produced as a by-product of the filtration process can be used for manufacturing other beverages in the brewery, such as Hard Seltzer.

PITTSBURGH BREWING COMPANY RETURNS TO PRODUCING ITS OWN BEER USING GEA TECHNOLOGY

Pittsburgh Brewing Company in Pennsylvania, USA, returns to brewing its popular beers independently. For this purpose, it has invested in a new brewery featuring GEA technology. As a greenfield project, GEA's brewing experts designed and developed the complete process chain, from brewhouse to cold area and bottling. Installation began in August 2021 and was completed one year later.
